I served as the Student Curatorial Director, playing a key role in shaping the exhibition’s structure and overseeing its development from planning through installation. My responsibilities included coordinating with the curatorial and design teams, assisting with artwork selection and placement, managing exhibition logistics, and ensuring a cohesive and professional presentation. I also gained hands-on experience handling artworks, learning best practices in art handling, installation, and care, as well as understanding the importance of precision, communication, and collaboration in a gallery setting.
Through this role, I developed a deeper understanding of curatorial practice, exhibition planning, and the responsibilities involved in working with artworks in a professional environment.
